ICONIQA once again became a living stage for queer expression - and at the center of it, a runway that felt less like a show and more like a statement.
Presented as part of the night’s program, Aleixandri Studio brought a special fashion show to life, merging emerging design with the energy of Barcelona’s queer community. Recently awarded the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award 2025 and showcased at 080 Barcelona Fashion, Aleixandri Studio continues to position itself as one of the most compelling voices in genderless fashion today.
Founded by Marc Aleixandri, born in La Ràpita and trained at BAU Barcelona, the studio is shaped by a deep technical foundation and years of experience as a pattern maker at Palomo Spain, contributing to runway shows in Paris and New York. That precision translates into garments that feel intentional, sculptural, and emotionally charged.
At ICONIQA, the collection was not shown on traditional models, but embodied by queer individuals living in Barcelona, transforming the runway into a collective expression of identity. Each look carried its own presence - fluid, unapologetic, and in constant dialogue with the body wearing it.
Aleixandri Studio operates beyond binaries, using fashion as a tool for exploration. Through aesthetic, technical, and conceptual experimentation, the brand challenges traditional structures while celebrating diversity in its most authentic form.
This was not just a fashion show. It was a reflection of what ICONIQA stands for - a space where community, creativity, and self-expression collide to create something real, something urgent, and something entirely of now.
